Founder of ReStory Counseling & ReStory Institute
Chris has spent over two decades walking with men and women through restoration of their stories. He holds an MA from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, an MA from Northwestern University, and a Certificate of Completion in the Narrative Trauma Focused Care Externship at The Allender Center. Chris is an author, speaker, and podcast host, and leads intensives, pilgrimages, and professional training around the world. He is a husband of 30 years and father to 3 young adults.

You’ll receive On Demand access to 6 teaching modules and a course book with assignments and journal prompts. Each module is on average 20 minutes of video and another 40 minutes of corresponding questions.

The ReStory Primer Course is the first step into the ReStory Institute suite of storywork training.
Level One: Dive into Storywork with the psychological and theological framework for the ReStory approach while beginning to practice in a safe space with experienced facilitators.
Level Two: In Level 2, we cover the Wounds and Losses in our second stories and provide more Triad practice as you gain confidence and experience.
Level Three: In Level 3 we teach through the Survivals and bring it all together in an embodied small-group, in-person experience.
Community: Launching in 2026, this monthly membership will provide Storywork Coaches with Supervision, Business Coaching, and Community among like-minded ReStory Institute graduates.
